BNLS is committed to ensure your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal data (“Personal Data”) when you use our website or communicate with us.

When accessing our website www.bnlslaw.com, bnls-law.cn and/or www.bnlslaw.com and/or communicating with BNLS’ members via the contact form on our website, via email or via any other channels you consent to this Privacy Policy.

Should you not agree to any part of this Privacy Policy, you must inform us immediately and stop using our website, with the consequence that we may not be in a position to provide any further legal or related services to you.

 

Personal Data we process

The exact information we will request from you will depend on what you have asked us to do or what we are contracted to do for you.

We use Personal Data for the purposes of caring out your requests, mainly legal work on your behalf, managing our relationship with you, including conducting our compliance checks, as well as communicating with you, including sending you our newsletters and invitations to events, training programs or lectures, to maintain our list of contacts and/or to provide you with other information you may request from us.

Your Personal Data will only be used by us and our technology suppliers (who are obliged to protect your Personal Data to the same extent as we are).

In the event any of your information is shared with the aforementioned third parties, we ensure that they comply, strictly and confidentially, with our instructions and they do not use your personal information for other purposes unless you have explicitly consented to them doing so.

Your personal information will be retained, usually in computer or manual files, only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected, as required by law or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you may hold with us (example: 10 years after the conclusion or closure of our legal work, the duration of a trust or indefinitely for wills and related documents).
